Troy is a comedian on the verge of becoming a world known entity. What’s stopping him? Himself. His ego is too big, destroying any opportunity he has by calling his boss a bitch. An upcoming national tour with Kevin Hart and his Netflix special is canceled, sending him on a spiral. Lost, he tries to find himself in any religion, but being the skeptic he is it won’t be an easy return to religion given his past with it. He finds a home in a local Christian church when he meets Sandra. This leads him to become a regular, maybe for the wrong reasons, then unconventionally becoming the opening act for the Sunday services, being used for the financial scam that will crush his churchgoers and most trusted friends. Will Troy be able to fix this mess, get out of his own way, and become the man he can be?
