The Commonwealth is an hour-long Crime, Drama, and Dark Comedy based on a true story. RITCH BAEK a Korean- American and former underground poker player with a vast criminal history, and deep ties with Atlantic City’s top criminals takes his winnings and reboots his life with his wife and daughter in an affluent white community in Virginia. Culture clash, identity issues, and acceptance are front and center for Ritch, his wife (SU), and teenage daughter (MAGGIE) as they navigate the craziness of the Asian-less world around them. They'll find that the white picket fences of this town thinly mask white-collar criminality that will bring Ritch's underground past as he continuously tries to escape it. Ritch and his family will need to pull together and use all their wits to come out on top of this game or get cleaned out.
